Vaginal Laxity - 05/24/2009 21:06:13
How common is vaginal laxity after having a couple of children by vaginal births?
I feel that this is something that I cannot talk about to my doctor.  Are there procedures to help this problem.

Vaginal laxity also means stetching out of the vagina.  Many women who have had at least one or more vaginal births feel as if they are stetched out.
This perception of looseness may or may not affect their sexual satisfaction with vaginal intercourse. This looseness has nothing to do with the appearance of the labia. It also has nothing to do with incontience or leaking of urine.

I have spoken with several of my friends who say they are not the same as before giving birth.

I have noticed on the internet that some gynecologists (NYC types) are doing surgical procedures for vaginal rejuventation. Some woemn have elected to have C-sections because they do not want to be stretched out.
