I just recently got married to my husband. We've been dating for three years now. And I just can't get wet. I do get really turned on by him i seriously do! But when it comes to me getting wet i can't. I've been with one other guy before my husband and that was just for one night where i lost my vaginaty and i don't remember being wet. Is there something wrong with me? Or is there something i can do or take?
Albolene The book ESO suggested Albolene as the lubricant of choice. Albolene is a moisturizing makeup cleanser made by a company called Numark, and it is formulated from mineral oil, petrolatum ("Vaseline"), paraffin, ceresin and beta carotene. This product is available from several distributors via the internet at somewhat widely varying prices. The unscented version would be preferred for our purposes. ESO also had a recipe to create something close to Albolene by combining mineral oil, petrolatum, and paraffin, mixing them together in a container surrounded by boiling water. It is true, of course, that an oil-based lubricant would certainly have better staying power than the water-based lubricants like K-Y Jelly and Astroglide. Astroglide, especially, is extremely slippery when first applied, but it soon dries out and becomes a sticky mess. On the other hand, some gynecologists claim that the oil-based lubricants may help promote yeast and other infections by walling up some of the nasties, which live in or near the vagina. From my own personal experience, I prefer a homemade mixture of mineral oil and petrolatum, heated in a saucepan and stored in a tin canister kept bedside. This works just fine for normal intercourse. For anal intercourse, I apply some of this to me first and then add a thin topcoat of Astroglide to help me gain easier entry.
In skin contact, it melts to the consistency of natural sexual lubrication but is longer lasting. It is also tasteless, for those times when you proceed from manual to oral stimulation. Even people who at first resist using a lubricant find that the experience of using Albolene usually changes their doubts into appreciation". Sounds great!
If you do an Internet search, there are many places offering to sell Albolene on line. In fact, I am going to order some for myself today. If you cannot get Albolene, they suggest you make your own lubricant.
The book in question is by Alan and Donna Brauer, "ESO" standing for Extended Sexual Orgasm. C. 1983 by Warner Books.
The lubricant in question is in fact a substitute for Albolene. The recipe is found on pages 26-27, and is as follows;
20 T mineral oil
4 T melted paraffin wax (as for fruit canning)
2 T melted petrolatum (petroleum jelly)
Basically the last two ingredients are melted in a double boiler (for safety) and accurate measuring. The mineral oil is added to the warm ingredients and oil based (not alcohol based) flavorings can be added The mixture is then poured into a jar, cooled and sealed.
It is very similar to Albolene, and the option of adding flavor is a plus.
